I've covered the Plame debacle off and on within these pages for some time. It it time to put it to rest. This Christopher Hitchens' Slate article nicely elucidates the plain facts and the campaign of misinformation surrounding this case.

I would love to see how many papers write editorials admitting that the White House was not to blame and did nothing malicious towards Ms. Plame and that the papers were premature in their condemnation of Bush. I am not going to hold my breath.
I came across this article over my morning coffee. With you, I too won't hold my breath, but this looks like a step in the right direction.
