Political Science

Any high school freshman will tell you that that science is based on observation, measurement and replication. This is the nature, pardon me, requirement of professional inquiry. And yet the global warming faithful persist with the ardent fervor of religious fundamentalists.

The fact that our climate has changed is a tacit observation. I live in Minnesota and haven't seen a real winter for some time. Is this the result of carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases or simply a repeating climatological pattern change?

Today, we learn that our global climate has not changed since 1998, indicating the liklihood that the latter position is indeed correct. Furthmore, this confirms the hysteria of the left (the notion that global warming is a greater threat to the world than islamo-facism, as explicated by Al Gore and others) regarding global warming is grounded more in political ideology than scientific fact. Also implicated in today's report, are methodolgical errors with how previous fear-mongering metrics have been calculated.

It should be interesting to see how this plays out in the press.
